Jordy Mixed Breed Madison, WI

Meet Jordy! About 10 months old, 50# Jordy is a very sweet young dog with a lot of love to give.
He originally came from Alabama, and was adopted, but was returned due to his medical issues.
Jordy will melt your heart with lots of kisses and cuddle time. He is the sweetest and most playful dog, and shares the love with other dogs and people. Jordy is very good with sit and come, and his foster parents are working on other commands as well.
Jordy is house-trained and crate trained. His favorite place to sleep though is on his bed right next to his foster parents. Jordy also walks well on a leash. He would love an active family.
Based on an allergen test, Jordy is highly allergic to cats .

Jordy will need a family that can accommodate Jordy’s dietary needs and manage his medical concerns. Jordy’s exact medical concerns are unknown, but he does have some known allergies, and for the time being is on a special diet and a daily medication to reduce itching. Currently, Jordy’s foster parents have him in a cone most of the time (except when playing or on walks) to keep from further licking the sores on his paws so they can heal. His family will need the ability to provide the treatment Jordy needs and be prepared to take the necessary steps to figure out exactly what is going on with this sweet guy.

** Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $300. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $375. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
