Riley Labrador Retriever Mix Manhattan, KS

Hi, there! My name is Riley and I’m a young female Labrador Retriever mix weighing about 40 lbs. My foster mom isn’t sure how old I am but she would guess no older than a year. I am very sweet but have a lot of energy that needs to be burned off. I need either a fenced in yard that I can run around in or a family with a very active lifestyle (walks/jogs, trips to the dog park, etc). Because of my energy levels, I would not do well in an apartment. I am still learning what boundaries are and how to mind my manners, so I would like to go to a home without cats, small children or dogs smaller than me. I know that may seem like I’m asking a lot, but I want to thrive in my forever home and that’s the best way for me to do it! Patience will be very important as I was a stray before this so I will need help learning what it means to be a proper dog. I am potty trained but am not kennel trained (though my foster mom is working on that!). I only have the best intentions and can’t wait to be the very best dog for my future family!
