Bruiser Labrador Retriever & Boxer Mix Manhattan, KS

Bruiser is a 9 month old male, 50 lbs mystery mix. Bruiser and his siblings did not have a good start in life and spent most of their life outside with no human contact. Bruiser is still afraid of human contact , especially male but does fine with females. Once he warms up and starts trusting his humans, he loves snuggling and asking for attention. Bruiser does very well with other dogs and comes out of his shell more. He is discovering life indoors and is a fast learner especially with another fur friend. He has not been cat or children tested. Bruiser loves being in his crate chewing on toys when his humans are around and slowly crawls up to the couch to cuddle with them when they sit down or lower their positions. Bruiser has never shown any sign of aggression but loves to play hide and seek. Bruiser loves being outside and is potty trained. He does fine on a leash especially with another dog, but would get skittish when he sees other humans. He does get slightly protective of his humans when outside but does not get aggressive. Bruiser would do well in a home with another fur sibling and some form of a routine so he can learn to be a normal dog. He needs a lot of love, patience, and understanding.
