Patty French Bulldog & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Normal, IL

This beautiful gal is Patty, though she seems to respond better to Bella (her name when she was with MCAC). Her foster mama lovingly refers to her as Portabella!

She's a two year old French Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier mix and weighs in at 63 pounds. Patty can be a gentle lady (takes treats gently), but when she's excited she doesn't know her own weight and is quite the tank. We suggest no small children, unless they are built tough and used to big dogs - this is purely due to her size and strength.

Patty is mostly housebroken, with only a few accidents when she first went into her foster home. She sleeps peacefully through the night and does well in the crate. Patty is strong on the leash and would benefit from some basic obedience training and work on learning proper leash manners.

She gets along with other dogs her size if they are calmer and older, but is not a fan of smaller dogs and probably wouldn't do well with young, high energy dogs that might get in her face. A proper dog introduction is a must to ensure a good match if the adopter has another dog. Patty needs a cat-free home.
