Mara Miniature Pinscher Normal, IL

Meet Mara, a sweet little Miniature Pinscher who's 2 years old and weighs about 10 pounds. Mara is a great lil lady. She's very cuddly and kissy, enjoys car rides, and walks just fine on a leash, though she'd rather be carried! She tends to get very excited and want to play chase when she's around cats, and she's possessive of her person with other dogs. Because of these issues, she'll need to be the only fur baby in the home. Mara is a sensitive gal who is scared of loud noises & blowing wind. She'll need a calm and quiet house with no kids, no other pets and a secure fence as she seems to have the impulse to make a run for it if given the chance. We think she'll settle down as time goes on and she gets comfortable with her new family. Mara warms up slowly to new people and new experiences - but after that she's a loving "velcro dog". Her minimum adoption fee is $275 plus a $12 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
