Meet Brooks

Brooks is a great pup. He gets along with older dogs in his foster home. He walks well on a leash with a harness. He is coming along nicely with potty training and can hold his pee overnight, and he gets let out midday during the day also. However, if allowed to wander freely around the house, you would need to keep an eye on him if he hasn't gone out for a couple of hours. He has a lot of energy. He is getting to know his name and he is very treat motivated.

Brooks likes to cuddle and he likes to be picked up. He is very friendly and loves people. He will do well in a home with other dogs. He has had very limited interaction with kids, so far. He is very sweet and he is teething and likes to play with toys. He does not like to be alone. So a dog buddy or an at home hooman would make Brooks a happier boy.

He is not afraid of large size dogs. And can be good with a cat too, but supervision is suggested as Brooks thinks everyone wants to play He is an all-around great puppy and is looking for an active person or family. Toys and balls and sticks are fun times. Since Brooks is food motivated, a training class with positive reinforcement and treats is recommended. He is smart and a quick learner.

Brooks is a 3.5 month old Shepherd mix pup who weighs approximately 23 pounds, being fostered in Flagstaff. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Brooks's adoption fee is $225.
