Courage Guinea Pig Guinea Pig Wolcott, IN

We have an adult male guinea pigs looking for his forever home. His name is Courage! Courage came into the rescue when his previous owner could no longer care for him, and he’s estimated to be at least 1 year old (we estimate 1-2 years old). He was an adult when the previous home got him, so his age is an estimate based on how long she had him.

Courage is a brown, beige, and white American male guinea pig.

Courage is your typical guinea pig in that he does move away from you when you go to pick him up (his name is a bit misleading haha), but once you’re holding him, he does settle down and does well with being handled and petted. He loves to hide in his igloo, but he will come out for food, water, and of course, veggies and hay! He love love LOVES his food, hay, veggies, greens… he’s an easy to please boy! We’re sure that the more time you spend with him, the more attention you give him, and the more snacks you give him, we know you’re sure to win him over and make him even more loveable and outgoing. He’s super sweet and does well with being handled and petted. He will sit nicely in your arms when you’re petting him. He does well with having his nails trimmed. He has never bitten.

This guinea pig will come with some food to start you out with (2 pounds of guinea pig pellets) and a printed out version of our guinea pig care packet. We also have additional supplies for sale, such as cages, food, food bowls, water bottles, hidey houses, and more.

Do you need a cage? We have multiple cages for sale, everything from smaller guinea pig cages to larger ones. You can buy a cage similar to what he is living in for $25. If you are looking for a cage, please check with us, we often have a variety of cages available (even other than what’s mentioned above).

Regardless of past guinea pig experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our guinea pig care packet and fill out our adoption application/guinea pig questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No guinea pig will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
