Ander - Hidden Treasure Siamese & Domestic Short Hair Mix Racine, WI

My name is Ander. I haven't had a great start to life. I was brought into a different rescue when I was younger but was nervous around people then. My foster home was scared of me and didn't help me learn to trust anyone. I had a few years of just basement living and eating all I could eat to occupy my time. I am a big guy now who doesn't know what is socially acceptable to being a cat. I am not mean but am VERY scared of anything new. I am learning to trust but this will take time and my new owner must be prepared to continue to help me progress into a great guy. I am GREAT with other cats and really should go to a home with another cat. Dogs are ok too as long as they don't move too fast or bark a lot. I prefer a quieter home with calmer people. Could you help me out?

I am also on a diet as I am very obese and need to lose several pounds to look and feel great again =)

All of our cats are current on age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, and on revolution (flea/heartworm/ear mite prevention).

All adoptions require an approved application.
