Shelton Mixed Breed Madison, WI

Meet Shelton! Shelton is about 12-weeks-old and 14-pounds (1/9). He's been in foster care in AL, with his sister Bria, since he was 4-weeks-old when his mama died.
They traveled to WI and Shelton is good with other dogs and leaves cats alone. He is pee-pad trained and understands going potty outside, so housetraining is going well. He leaves his crate completely clean! He loves wrestling with his sister Bria and even though she wins most of the time, he is a good sport about it. He's quite vocal when he's playing and has a cute little howl (his mama was a hound mix), but is good about quieting down when it's time to rest and snuggle. He is a great lap dog and understands the difference between play time and rest time (don't break his heart and tell him that he won't be lap-dog size for long). He loves toys and is getting used to being on a leash, but he is understanding that leash = exploring outside.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters OR they have the option of bringing the pet to Underdog for complimentary completion of these vaccines)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $275. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $350. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
