Meet Roxie
This adorable one-year-old girl came to our organization from Kansas, where she was found as a stray. Roxie is a thirty pound bundle of energy and love. She has a happy, happy personality and is ready to play with you or other dogs with the wag of a friendly tail. She has a beautiful, soft, cream-colored coat and alert, brown ears. Her sweet face shows traits of a Cattle dog or a Heeler mix possibly.
Initially Roxie is shy and submissive, but she'll some out of her shell after she's given a little time to warm up and become familiar with her surroundings. Once she is comfortable, Roxie is not aggressive with other dogs; she can also play nicely and entertain herself. Roxie is crate-trained and stays there quietly all night. She had a few 'accidents' in the house but a regular schedule helped her to be successful more and more.
Roxie is anxious to please her people and wants to be a well-behaved dog. She jumped up frequently when she first arrived but has learned that people don't appreciate that. When you sit down, she loves to come close and will lean in for loving as long as you'll pet her. The organization who had Roxie said she does well with dogs, cats, and kids!
Roxie’s adoption fee is $250, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
For more information about Roxie, email kristina@k9kindnessrescue.org or fill out the online adoption at www.k9kindnessrescue.org.
Roxie and K9 Kindness Rescue thank you for considering adoption through rescue for your new family companion!
