Meet Missy
MISSY is 13 years old and weighs 11 pounds.
If you are looking for a four-legged ball of fluff who is not only regal, but elegant, then I am the one you are seeking. We Lhasa Apsos are known as "easy keepers" and I am about as easy as you can get, for I do enjoy my beauty sleep and long snuggles. As you can see my beauty sleep is working wonders. I have been compared to Betty Boop – without the red swimsuit that is!
I can be a bit assertive, as befits my royal status, but am more a stately old lady now. I do walk on a lead, but need to be careful as my hearing and sight aren't what they used to be. Don't expect too much out of me as a guard dog due to the hearing loss, but what I lack in guarding I more than make up for in love and am a truly affectionate character. I have lived around other dogs too, so have no trouble with them or cats.
If you are wanting a loyal companion to sit in your lap and want to pet for hours I am only too happy to oblige. I do best in a low-stress and quiet household. Nothing is too good for royalty.
