Meet Felicity

Felicity (nicknamed Tabby), is an approximately 2-4 year old petite, cream (buff/light orange) shorthair female. She was taken in as a stray on the north side by a gentleman who did not realize she was pregnant until she started labor. She had an extremely difficult labor and was picked up by a Cat Coalition foster to care for. She was incredibly sweet despite the pain she was in and allowed an experienced person to help with her delivery. In the end she had four healthy babies and she was the proudest mama cat ever!

Felicity's kittens have all found homes and now it's her turn. She is extremely sweet and enjoys scratches behind her ears and on the sides of her face. She also loves to have her belly rubbed.

She gets along well with other cats and dogs, but is too protective around very young kittens. Tabby is an affectionate, well mannered love but can be shy at first so needs someone who will be patient while she adjusts. But that being said she is well worth a little patience and will become an amazing addition to a home.

Felicity is feline aids (FIV) positive (NOT to be mistaken with feline leukemia). Most FIV cats go on to live normal lives as long as they are kept indoors and given good care. Tabby's foster can share information on the effect of FIV on cat's lifespans (spoiler alert- main conclusion was no large influence on feline life spans of positive vs non positive cats who lived indoor only).

Tabby had a very thorough work up, including a full blood panel to ensure she is healthy and ready to go and everything looked good.

Tabby can go to a home with other cats since FIV is only spread via mating and deep bite wounds.
