Look who is finally available for adoption!! Keegan has been in rescue for a couple of months recuperating after being hit by a car. Both of his back legs were injured, and had to be fixed one at a time. First was his left leg with a fractured femur. When that leg was healed he went back to the vet for a FHO (femoral head ostectomy) on the right. Now both legs are fixed (and so is he!) and he is ready to find his new home. The injuries do not bother him at all and do not slow him down. He may need some pain meds when he gets older but he is on no meds now. Keegan's breed is believed to be shepherd/lab mix. He is now 7-8 months old. He is a vocal boy when he plays and wants attention. He gets along with the bigger dogs in his foster home but little dogs and cats are a no no. He loves everyone he meets, but has not been around very young children. He is almost house broke and does great in a crate. He does love to chew so a good toy supply is a must.
