Goose is a tiny 9 pound either backyard bred Jack or a JRT/Chihuahua cross with an undocked tail. She is definitely all Jack in her attitude and prey drive level.
Goose arrived in rescue pregnant and had 2 gorgeous puppies who have been adopted. She was a wonderful conscientious mother. Goose gets along very well with other friendly dogs and is starting to run and wrestle with our resident rat terrier. She crates well, travels well in the car and is a fantastic off leash hiker. Don't be fooled by her size - this girl is all energy and would make a terrific candidate for barn hunt or agility. She does get a little excitement-nippy sometimes, so smaller or rowdy children are NOT recommended, and some positive reinforcement obedience classes ARE highly recommended to provide some previously-missing structure. But basically she is miss cuddle-and-kiss, and my daughter's favourite foster dog ever.
