Meet Micheal

This lovable beefcake is Michael! Michael is a gentle giant who believes, despite his size, that he is a lap dog. Staff and volunteers can't get enough of him, saying he's known for snuggles and love.

Michael would appreciate a family willing to work on his leash manners,
sometimes he finds himself walking his human instead of the other way around. We think Michael is the total package: he gets along with other dogs his size, he loves humans, and never turns down a treat or an opportunity to learn.

He'd do best in a home without small animals and young kids because of his size alone. Michael knows basic cues such as ‘sit' and volunteers report he comes in and out of his kennel easily.
