Hi, I’m Otis and just like the Otis Redding song, I want to be “Your One and Only Man”. I’m a very handsome, 15 pound chi mix who’s great with dogs, cats and older considerate kids. Little kids can scare me but I’m not aggressive with them. I’m house and crate trained and learning quickly how to walk on a leash. My foster says I’m moderately active but not hyper. Since I was found as a stray, you’ll need to make sure I have a secure place to play and a 6 foot fence would probably be best because I am able to jump out of a puppy play pen so I might be able to get out of a yard with a 4 footer. I’m presently learning basic commands and am looking forward to learning more when I find my new home. Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies) which includes State of Texas sales tax.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
