Remember Castana? This boy was in very rough shape when he came into rescue. He had been shot 3 times, he was dehydrated with a high fever, he had a fractured jaw from being shot in the nose (which went through his tongue and lower jaw) and a bullet lodged in his front leg. His foster mom is the one who went to his rescue when he was found in a garage. After some time in the hospital, he went home with her. She found out that he is 100% housebroken, knows how to sit and is dog friendly!!! He does well with her cat, but caution should be used. Castana is weary of new people and he must approach you first. He is very food motivated which helps in training. We think he is a Treeing Walker Coonhound and he is about 1 year old. Castana loves the outside! He does not like to go for walks, in fact you can’t even get him to leave the yard. He is a big fan of laying in the back yard, snoozing in the sofa, and stealing your chair! He LOVES car rides and will run to the car when told to do so. He would do best in a house with older children. Castana would like a fur sibling but is not required. He is neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $135.
