Meet Jack

Meet Jack! He is the male half of the dynamic Jack & Jill duo. He's around 20 lbs and 4 months old, black & white mix, dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, crate trained, and seemingly already house-trained. They are very bonded as you can see from the pictures, and actually compliment one another! Jack is a very impulsive, go-lucky, clumsy, sweet, gentle, and snuggly fella! His sister keeps him in line and he happily follows along. We would like to place these pups together, as they are very bonded.
Jack is neutered, up to date on vaccines and on heartworm preventative ;) If you would like to adopt him, please apply online @ www.purple-paws.org.

FOSTER UPDATE 12-4-19:
Jack & Jill have had limited interest as a bonded sibling duo. They have an extremely sweet relationship and it breaks their fosters’ hearts to think about seeing them split up, but we are accepting applications for them individually as the priority is that we find each one a loving home. We will only consider applicants who already have one or more friendly dogs in the home, preferably that will enjoy the company and playfulness of a young puppy. The pups are older than we initially thought. The vet thinks they are almost 7 months. They are up to date on all shots and altered. Jill weighs about 35 lbs and Jack is about 30lbs. We do not believe they will be more than 40-45 lbs full grown.

As Jill has settled in more at her fosters’, she continues to come out of her shell. She loves to play and often is the quiet instigator, playfully nipping at the other dogs' hind legs to initiate play. She follows foster mom around, right at her heels, and is the first to jump up into her lap or ask up into bed for snuggles. She quickly learned “Jill, kennel” and will go right into her crate when foster mom leaves for work. Both she and her brother require a bit of time to warm up to new situations and large crowds. They are very gentle with everyone, especially kids, but are just timid at first. That being said, the pups have been to other houses, and once they realize everything is “okay”, they settle right in and are so well-behaved, get along with other dogs, don’t jump up on people or act rambunctious.
