Echo Australian Shepherd Saratoga Springs, NY

Hi everyone, my name is Echo! I am a 6-7 month old (male) Australian Shepherd puppy with a lot of energy and lot of love to give! I was a puppy mill dump who was said to be deaf. Good news – my foster mom says I am DEFINITELY not deaf, and can hear just fine! She does say however, that I’m nervous and need a loving family who will be patient as I continue to come out of my shell.

My foster mom says I am really, really smart. I love to please, and I loooove food! I know how to sit, lay down, come, and spin in both directions! I would love to continue to learn new tricks! I am super snuggly and wiggly, and I love attention.

We have been working on a lot of confidence building because of my nervousness. My crate is my safe place, but with time and patience, I love to come out and snuggle my human(s).

Because I am a puppy, and a high-energy breed, I need a family that will continue my training and give me an outlet to work and play. Foster mom recommends formal training classes and she says she may even see dog sports in my future once I build my confidence up!

I am great with other dogs, indifferent towards cats (from what we’ve seen), and love people. I enjoy the outdoors and going on “off-leash” walks/hikes on my long line. My confidence shoots up outside, so I would love if my new family and I could go on a ton of walks, explore the outdoors, and play in the yard every day.

We have been working on potty training and loose leash walking and I’m doing great with both. I will come to my new family neutered and UTD on all vaccines and preventatives! My adoption fee is $300.
