"Handsome John" is what this fella goes by at the rescue! He has been in a wonderful foster home learning all about life, John's foster family has this to say about this precious boy:

A gorgeous German Shepherd mix with exquisite markings, John is certainly the dashing one. Around 5 months old, we expect Handsome John to be Big John when he gets all grown up, most likely in the mid-large category.

He is working hard on his house manners and is good with all people and other dogs. He would love to have his own home to curl up in. He's already got the winter coat.

Gentle, calm and affectionate, John is certain to be a faithful and fun family dog to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.


John is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue centered in Bonifay and Panama City, FL (NY Lic #1054). The $395 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, de-worm, flea prevention, heartworm prevention and martingale safety collar.
