Meet Periwinkle

Meet Periwinkle and Petunia!*

These adorable siblings are looking for a loving home together. Inseparable since birth, Periwinkle and Petunia have come a long way since arriving at Tenth Life as sick, frightened, and undernourished kittens covered in fleas. In their foster home, they learned to trust that humans were here to help them. With plenty of love, attention, healthy food, and medical care, they blossomed into happy and healthy kittens.

Periwinkle, the gray and white boy, is the more timid of the pair. Like many shy kittens, though, once you have gained his trust, he will give you his entire heart and seek you out for cuddles and affection. This handsome gray tuxedo has adorable white socks and the fluffiest poofy tail. Periwinkle is definitely all cat, but we think he resembles the cutest gray fox!

Periwinkle’s tabby sister Petunia is a fearless female, chasing her brother, taking on larger cats in her foster home, and even doing battle with the vacuum! This curious girl must investigate everything she sees and hears! Despite her brave demeanor, she has the tiniest little irresistible meow. Her foster mom says she chatters often. Petunia’s coat is a gorgeous mix of brown tabby with patches of apricot, and a white chest and white accents on her face. Some would call her a tabbico (tabby/calico mix); others would say she’s a torbie (tabby/tortie mix). Regardless of the coat name, she’s a total beauty with the cutest white socks and gorgeous amber eyes.

Both Petunia and Periwinkle are extremely playful and love to wrestle and chase each other. Of course, they will mellow some as they grow up, but this ability to play together and keep each other entertained is such a plus when you are busy or away from home. Bonded kittens are never lonely! When you are home and available, these two sweet siblings will want to be right with you, playing one minute and then cuddling on the couch or falling asleep in your lap the next.

Because these kittens came to us as very frightened strays, they will need a patient adopter willing to give them plenty of time to adjust as they make the transition to their forever home. Any introduction to a new space should be gradual, and these two will certainly appreciate quiet time to get to know their surroundings, sounds, smells, and new humans. Because they will probably not enjoy being picked up or sought out until they feel safe and comfortable, a house without young children would probably be best for these two.

Once these adorable siblings have settled in, they will be the most playful and cuddly pair! Periwinkle will purr at you every time you look at him, and Petunia will charm you with her delightful chatter. These two will be the sweetest addition to a loving home!

*Note: Periwinkle is part of a bonded pair. See his sister Petunia's profile as well.
