Meet June Bug

My name is June Bug, I'm a shyly sweet 1 year old girl. I've been spayed, microchipped and I have had my shots too.

I'm looking for my own family that would include 1 or more canine siblings. You see, my confidence level gets boosted by being with other dogs. I do warm up to humans, but it may take me a couple of days. I love to play and go on walks.

Due to an old injury I have a slight limp, but I still get around. I can sleep on a dog bed or cuddle in bed with you. I've lived with older dogs and cats too. I'm gentle and loving with everyone.

Meet me by filing out an application. I hope you will.

Love,
June Bug

June Bug is an approximately 1 year and a few month old, and weighs about 35 pounds. She has been spayed and microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations. June Bug is listed as a special needs dog because of an old injury to her rear leg. Xrays revealed bullets and an old fracture of her femur that did not heal well. June Bug has no trouble getting around and loves to play but when she is tired, she does not want to bear weight on that leg. Amputation is not recommended at this time, but we have put June Bug on gabapentin, which seems to help.

June Bug is being fostered in Flagstaff. She will do best in a home with another dog. She is shy with people she is not familiar with, but loves to bond and cuddle with those she knows. June Bug's adoption fee is $85., as a special needs dog. We would love to see June Bug in a home of her own.

We are a small rescue/foster group without an animal shelter.
