Meet Chance
Chance is a gorgeous BIG incredibly affectionate black and white smoothie. He is 7 years old and weighs 18 pounds.
Chance ended up dumped in a high kill shelter because he was going blind. JRR OWII has funded lens replacement surgery on Chance, and the prognosis is that Chance will be able to see well again once he finishes his rehab and convalescence period. He will be available for adoption in January 2020.
This is a super-affectionate easygoing Jack who loves the world. No small children because he does jump up on everyone to give them kisses, and he could easily knock a little kid down. Chance gets along with all other friendly dogs of all sizes. He is well crate and leash-trained, and he loves to go hiking or just explore his world.
Chance will require biannual eye exams with a canine eye specialist for the rest of his life , and these exams are a condition of placement of course. But the prognosis at this time is very good. Updates will be posted.
Chance is in foster care in Clatskanie, Oregon. His adoption fee will be $200.
