Meet SADIE (medical hold)

Sadie is currently on medical hold & will be available for adoption 11-1-19.

Sadie has come so far since she arrived in Nebraska. An injury required her leg be removed as it couldn’t be saved (she's a tri-pawd). On top of this, Sadie is heartworm positive and is undergoing lifesaving treatment. Once she gets through the treatment, this baby is ready to find her furever home and live with a family that appreciates all her wonderful attributes. What are those attributes, you ask? Sadie is great with dogs, cats, and people. She is playful, very affectionate (big cuddler), house trained, and crate trained.

Sadie’s start wasn’t pleasant but since she’s been brought in and loved she has blossomed into a loving, sweet, little girl that seems to be finding her inner puppy at last. She believes that having 3 legs is no different than having 4 showing us in a short time that it doesn’t hold her back from frolicking with the rest of her foster brothers and sisters. She is crate trained but has not needed to be kenneled at night or when foster mom is at work. She LOVES toys, including her shark that she takes with her everywhere. Sadie is about as close to perfect as any dog could be and considering where she started from, she holds no grudges and is only looking forward to a new amazing, adventurous life! She would be a great travel companion as she is great riding in the car.

Sadie is a female yellow lab mix, weighs 50 lbs and was born approximately 8-24-2017. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, and is receiving lifesaving treatment for heartworms. She must be on a monthly heartworm preventive for the rest of her life, as all dogs should be. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
