Wiener dog to the rescue! Moe Skeeto is such a sweet dog. He loves being by your side all the time and always makes sure his human is within his eyesight. He does fine in his kennel once he settles in but would prefer to be out and about. He is trustworthy when left loose in the house. He wants to sleep in your bed, not his, because human beds are so much more comfortable. He likes going on walks and has good leash manners. He hasn't been around cats but he gets along with other dogs. He will let you know when one walks by his house! Moe is a great dog who deserves his forever home!

Moe Skeeto is a male Dachshund mix, weighs 19 lbs and was born approximately 8-26-2017. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, and is receiving lifesaving treatment for heartworms. He must be on a monthly heartworm preventive for the rest of his life, as all dogs should be. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
