If you have been in search of the perfectly easy dog, then Pearl may just be your match! Pearl (8 to 9-years-old/15-pounds) is a smart, lovable, peppy little dog who was left off at an apartment complex in Kentucky. She was clearly someone's beloved pet at one point in her life because she is house-trained and a little on the plump side. Pearl has quite a bit of energy for being an older dog and loves to take walks, play with stuffed animals, and follow her foster mom around the house. When her mom is gone during the day, Pearl has full run of the house because she is so well-behaved. At night Pearl prefers to sleep snuggled up in blankets, so covered up that it’s surprising that she can still breathe! She currently lives with a cat and they mostly just ignore each other.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters OR they have the option of bringing the pet to Underdog for complimentary completion of these vaccines)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $275. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $350. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
