Meet Wyatt Earp

Meet Wyatt Earp! Wyatt Earp (3-years-old/14-pounds) was found, along with Wiggles (also adoptable), on a highway in Alabama. He had some tar or something on his face and ears, but it's now coming off.
Wyatt Earp is a sweet boy with some spunk. He is confident around all dogs and people, but also enjoys being more observant than the center of attention. He's always around and would love to be on your lap, but he's also independent enough to find his way to a dog bed or a dog toy to make himself feel at home. He has no interest in my cat and is actually bossed around by the cat often. He does well on leash walks and in social settings. He rides well in a bag on a bike too (added bonus!). He is a mellow guy, but he really would thrive in a home that walked him, socialized him, and played with him since he does still have a good amount of fun spunk to him. Fun fact: he goes down the stairs on his front feet only, I think he was a gymnast in a previous life.

**Please note: Our animals live in foster homes throughout the Madison area. We do not have a shelter where animals are available for daily viewing. Applying is the first step in our process.**

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters OR they have the option of bringing the pet to Underdog for complimentary completion of these vaccines)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $275. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $350. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.

*Please note that all breeds noted are estimates or best guesses. We very rarely have information on our animals' actual breeds since they often come to the shelters we work with as strays*
