8.5 year old standard grey female chinchilla Chinchilla Chinchilla Wolcott, IN

We have a standard grey female chinchilla who’s looking for a home. We have down that she was born around 1/2011, which means she is now 8.5 years old. Great time to take her home (is there ever really a bad time?).

This female is a standard grey, which means she has the salt and pepper grey coloring over her back, with a white belly. This is the classic color in chinchillas!

Here’s what our volunteer has to say about this pretty girl: “She’s a good old girl who is calm and friendly. She loves to explore new areas and loves getting into trouble.”

She is a sweet girl that is relatively easy to pick up an handle, though we definitely agree with our volunteer, she sure does love to go exploring! She doesn’t bite.

She would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had one before.

This chinchilla is currently caged alone. However, if you interested in pairing her up with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (Tradition pellets), a goodie bag of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. She will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.

Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
