Chewbacca Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Argyle, NY

As each new day starts, this adorable guy meets our volunteers with a series of sounds so true to Chewbacca, that you would swear Star Wars is playing! He can produce chatters, chirps, woots, like nobody's business! His name on record was Leroy, but he is Chewbacca, we're pretty sure!

To go with his funny talking side, he also happens to have an incredibly sweet and loving personality. A Cattledog/Heeler mix, he has gorgeous Chestnut coloring and looks like he is wearing a pair of white speckled socks on his front feet! He also has one ear up, one ear down just to add to the cuteness. At five and a half months old, he is doing a terrific job with potty habits, walks well on the leash, is great with other dogs, and lovvves people.

Chewbacca is s available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue centered in Bonifay and Panama City, FL (NY Lic #1054). The $395 adoption fee includes the transportation that brought him from FL to NY, neuter surgery, vaccinations, de-worm, flea prevention, heartworm prevention and martingale safety collar.
