Meet Tua

Meet Tua! Tua is about 1-year-old and ended up at a rural Alabama shelter extremely malnourished, suffering from pressure sores, and some hair loss. He's 35-pounds and full-grown (with a forever baby face). He's a very laid-back, calm dog, who is PERFECT! And to top the cake, he's house-trained and already knows "sit".

Tua loves....
*Humans - All humans, all ages as long as they provide belly rubs!
*Dogs - Tua is a submissive doggie and enjoys all sizes and personalities in the canine world.
*Cats- Take em' or leave em'. They are weird creatures, but have potential to be a friend.
*Sweaters - Because Wisconsin is most definitely not Alabama.
*Football - Because that is prime human snuggle time! His name is Tua after all.
*Food - This little man is extremely smart and food motivated, so new tricks and commands are fun and easy to teach.
*Adventures - He walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring. He is the perfect hiking companion.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters OR they have the option of bringing the pet to Underdog for complimentary completion of these vaccines)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $275. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $350. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.

*Please note that all breeds noted are estimates or best guesses. We very rarely have information on our animals' actual breeds since they often come to the shelters we work with as strays*
