Meet Balki

Balki is a middle-aged guy that was rescued from a high-kill Kansas shelter due to hair loss. He was found abandoned at a dumb, underweight with skin that resembled an elephants behind. Balki has been neutered, fully vaccinated, is chipped and current on his heartworm and flea and tick prevention. Balki has been started on allergy meds and and receives twice weekly medicated baths to keep his skin in tip top shape. His improvement in the month that we've had him has been epic.

Balki is in a foster home with other dogs, he loves kids and adults, is good with cats and calm around horses. He prefers to snuggle on soft surfaces, or your lap, and adores rides in cars, truck, jeeps or on a 4-wheeler. This dude is the real deal and deserves a cushy place to call home. He will likely need to be on allergy medication long-term. We do not yet know if his allergies are seasonal, so be prepared for a small cost associated with maintenance for that.
