Meet Chica

Chica arrived in our care on 7/9/19 with a litter of 4 pups and she was in extremely bad shape. We've included a photo of her on her intake day with her pups for reference. She was extremely underweight and trying to take care of 4 pups and she could hardly walk. She had been hit by a car at some point and her pups were only a few days old at the time we found her.
Her pups are weaned now and she is now at a healthy weight. We've had her checked out by our vet team. she has double hip dysplasia because of the prior injury. Surgery is not an option but pain management is. She is a good girl and is not a barker. She needs a home where she will be treasured and well taken care of and we know there is a special family out there who will love her just as she is. She is approximately 1 year old and we believe she is a hound mix. She has lived a very hard life in such a short time.
Her adoption fee is $100.00. She is spayed and is up to date on vaccinations including rabies. You must have a fenced yard or live in the country with safe acreage for exercise in order to adopt from us. We require that our dogs be allowed in their family home and be allowed to sleep inside at night. An adoption contract is completed and signed at the time of adoption.
