Meet Covington

This is Covington (foster mom calls her Covy). She’s a 2-year-old pit-bull that was found near Covington Golf Course emaciated, fighting for her life. She’s been working on gaining weight and becoming fully house-trained. Covy would do best with a calm family who has someone she can spend a lot of time with her. Covy does love following her foster mom around the house as well as sleeping on the bed at night. She has a very calm personality, but does love “roughhousing with her pittie foster sister. Covy is small and big dog friendly and wags her tail at all humans (small kids to adults), but does want to chase after cats, rabbits and squirrels. When coming in to foster care, she was scared of a leash (she is not fond of going on walks), but has been going outside on a tether just fine. She will need someone who has patience to show her everything is going to be ok. Covy is microchipped, spayed and up-to-date on my shots. Due to her breed, she must live outside of city limits.
