Meet Rusty
Rusty magically found his way to Bella's Rescue. One day, when returning to the sanctuary, Tori noticed a new pooch.
We think Rusty was abandoned at the sanctuary. He was not chipped and was never noted as missing, so as soon as his stray hold was up - off to the vet he went.
Rusty is a three year old lab mix with most gorgeous Rust colored coat.
He is around 50lbs, UTD, neutered but unfortunately, he has heartworms. We are doing the slow kill method of treatment currently; he can be adopted locally and we will continue to pay for treatment as long as the adopter is willing to use our vet in Manning, SC.
Now for the fun stuff - Rusty is a snuggle bug who LOVES to be pampered. He is house trained and doesn't mind a crate. He is playful but really just likes to relax and chill. He has an alpha personality, so he would be best suited with fur siblings who are non-reactive or submissive.
Rusty will be on medical hold for out of the area adoptions but if you're willing to start his furever now locally; apply now!
