Meet Alvira

Meet Alvira.... A beautiful seven-year-old Doberman/Waterdog mix. Alvira was brought into our rescue after she was diagnosed with Pyometra. To be honest I did not think the medical staff would be able to save her. When we got her she was so far gone. After a very long stay in the hospital she was finally dismissed and moved into a foster home. It’s been a long recovery but she is now back to what I think is her normal self. Her coat is beautiful it’s almost like a smoky blue. She LOVES the water more than anything. Even if it’s just a kitty pool. She is housebroken, walks good on a leash, and is very calm. She likes to sleep in bed at the foot and does not make a peep. She would prefer to be the only dog in the house but will tolerate others if she has to.
