Meet Apollo

**Please read entire description before inquiring about this kitty.**

Are you looking for an outgoing, dog-like personality in a compact cat body? Look no further! Apollo is a handsome male cat, about 1 1/2 years old, who after a rough start, is ready for his purr-fect forever home. Apollo will spend his days following you around the house to make sure he isn’t missing anything going on. He is always down for a belly rub or really just pets in general. He will flop over in front of you and ask for belly rubs. He LOVES to play, especially chase and with string toys (or anything that moves). He will “pounce” at you sometimes when you walk past him like it’s a game but he is always gentle. Apollo is the perfect gentleman when it comes to his claws and uses scratching posts (he loves the cardboard ones). He also loves boxes and his cat tunnel. Anything he can jump out of to catch you by surprise. Another of his past times that he enjoys is looking out of windows. He’ll delight you with his unique meow when he wants to ask for your attention. Apollo would prefer to be the cat king of his castle as he doesn’t want to share his new home with other cats. He is currently living with a mellow 70 pound lab (dog) and does just fine although when a small dog visits he hides so he would definitely take some time to adjust to a new dog. Apollo is FIV+ which means his immune system is slightly more sensitive than your average cat. With regular, preventative vet care and an indoor only home, Apollo should live a normal life just like your regular ol’ cat. As we mentioned above, Apollo had a bit of a rough start, if you are interested in learning more about Apollo, or giving him a forever home, we would be happy to share more of his story with you! Apollo has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on his vaccines.
