Bodie Australian Kelpie Mix Bettendorf, IA

Bodie is an 11 month old Australian Kelpie mix. He is a very sweet, intelligent, and playful dog. We don't have much history on him, but we do know that he was on a euthanasia list in Kansas, and we couldn't let that happen to this great guy.

Bodie is house trained and crate trained. He is not aggressive towards other dogs or cats, though being the overgrown puppy that he is, he tries to play a little rough and tumble at times. He is getting better at backing off when our smaller animals say "NO" to his sometimes overzealous attempts to play.
He is very energetic, so a fenced-in backyard would be best so that he can run around and play. He loves to play fetch and would spend hours running after balls, toys, etc. He enjoys walks as well. He is curious about other dogs, but he does not bark at them.

He is currently enrolled in obedience classes, and is quickly learning new commands. He is very smart, and learns quickly. He so wants to please his humans, but his youthful energy does get the best of him at times! The obedience classes are already purchased, so whoever adopts him will be able to continue with them if they so desire.

Bodie’s adoption fee is $250, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
