5 month old silver mosaic male chinchilla Chinchilla Chinchilla Wolcott, IN

We have a mosaic male chinchilla that is looking for his new home. This little guy came to NWI a bit ago, and is now ready for his forever home! We have down that he was born 2/9/19, so he’s now about 5 months old and this is a perfect time for you to bring him home!

This boy’s color is called silver mosaic, which is basically a white chinchilla with greyish markings. As you can see from his pictures, he’s basically got a white base coat, with lots of silvery shading! As you can see, he’s got a whiteish stripe around his shoulders and a white tail tip, while the rest of him is very silvery!

He is just cute as a button! That face! He’s round and fluffy and all we want to do is squeeze him! He’s relatively easy to pick up and he does pretty well with being handled and petted. He sits pretty nice for petting and is just a super sweet little furball. Nice and fluffy and very very cute. We just love him. Doesn’t bite.

This chinchilla is currently caged by himself and we don’t know how he does with other chinchillas. If you are curious as to whether he might get along with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

This chinchilla would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had chinchillas before.

This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (2 pounds of Tradition pellets), a goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.

Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
