Meet Ray - In Foster Care - Adoption Pending
*Ray is a 3-year-old neutered male Rottweiler/Basset Hound mix that is looking for his new forever home! He is 63lbs of pure LOVE!
Ray is cat friendly and dog friendly. We actually think he would prefer a doggie best friend to play with! We think he'd do well with children, but would most likely do best with kids 12 years of age or older as he sometimes likes to protect his food and doesn't realize how big he is, he might knock over a little one (and give them a million kissies if he does!)
Ray is crate trained, but actually does very well free roaming in the house, just put the trash can away and you're golden. He's curious and adventurous and so might get into things that he shouldn't...but if you give him plenty of outside adventure, then these behaviors definitely improve!
Ray is incredibly devoted to his people, but he is still a hound! He might find himself wandering if he's outside without containment, so we would recommend a fenced-in yard or leashing when he's outdoors.
Ray is a cuddle monster and will kiss you and lay on you until your frown is turned upside down. He knows many commands, but he would rather wiggle himself into your arms.
His adoption is being sponsored by his foster mom and dad (Trevor and I) so his adoption feel is reduced to $100.*
