Full Description: This dog is from the last group of Samoyeds rescued from Whitefire Kennels, a large-scale breeder in Manly, IA. In the last year, over 300 dogs have been rescued from this facility and a criminal neglect case against the breeder is pending. In the meantime, we have worked tirelessly to find homes for these special rescued friends where they will be treated as beloved family pets and not as livestock.

If you’d like to adopt a Samoyed from our shelter, we require:
-a completed Adoption Application (found under the “Application Forms” tab)
-previous or current Samoyed breed experience
-all pets in home must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines
-approved adoptions must be completed in person. We do not ship or transport dogs; you must come to our shelter to adopt a Samoyed.

Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian services: spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia/FIV test in cats, and heartworm test for dogs.
