Meet Melba
A beautiful, sweet and goofy young girl in search of an
active hound loving home!
Melba is very young and likely not fully house trained, however she is well on her way! She does a great job keeping her kennel clean here at the shelter when let out regularly. She will need frequent and consistent “potty breaks” in her new home. We highly recommend crate training for when she cannot be directly supervised.
She would do well in a home with other dogs, she LOVES to play! She may do well with respectful children of any age given parental guidance and supervision.
Puppies need a lot of exercise and training to help them becomes well behaved adults. Like most hounds, Melba loves to used her nose to explore. She would love a family that likes to go on outdoor adventures!
Melba is approximately 4 months old and weighs 35.5 pounds.
