Meet Sydney, an 11 year old 6 pound female yorkie being fostered in Madison, WI
Sydney has been absolutely wonderful! She is such a sweetheart! The perfect home for Sydney will be with someone who is retired or home during the day. Sydney loves to snuggle and wants to be close to her person all the time. She sleeps quietly through the night next to her person and will wait for you to get up before she moves! She does not bark much and loves to eat. The only thing we have found that she does not like is the vacuum cleaner. She will bark a little then stand quietly – we are working on that! Day 1: Hi everyone! Sydney here. It has been a big day for me. I was surrendered by my family to United Yorkie Rescue. They made the heartbreaking decision to ask for help finding me a new family who would love me as much as they did. It was very hard for them to let me go - I was well taken care of there.



I went to the vet today too. They gave me lots of shots and also gave me a microchip so if I get lost, someone can help me get home. The dogtor told my foster mom that there wasn't any reason I couldn't be adopted out right away!



Foster mom here: Sydney is a very sweet little girl. We are still getting to know her, but we know that she knows her name, is very loving - she would love to be on your lap or nearby all the time, and she has no problems eating. Although the previous owner mentioned some accidents in the house, she has not had any here yet. Sydney is also very quiet; we have yet to hear her bark!
