JAXX German Shepherd Dog & Great Pyrenees Mix Lincoln, NE

Jaxx is an energetic, fun, and loving big boy who loves to give kisses. He loves to run and play with the foster and resident dogs in his foster house but once he is worn out he loves to come hang out and snuggle and give kisses. Then he will find the nearest dog bed and take a little puppy nap. He does great on walks and is learning wonderful leash manners. He does great with all of the dogs in his fosters house both big and small. He does get a little grumbly on occasion when they get too close to his food or treats, but nothing more than that. Jaxx has not been around cats. He does great with the 13 year old girl in his foster house and he has been around younger kids and does fine but he doesn’t quite understand his size (he thinks he is a lap dog). Jaxx is super smart, he knows how to sit for treats and his foster mom is sure he will pick up on new tricks very quickly as he is very treat motivated. He does play with toys but his favorite thing is to play with the resident dogs he lives with. He is a puppy and is working hard at potty training. He will kennel at night and has no messes in the kennel. Jaxx is truly just a sweet, happy go lucky boy that will be a wonderful addition to a very lucky family!

Jaxx is a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix (our best guess of breeds) and was born approximately 2-6-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, and started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $475 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
