Meet Quincy

Hi, I’m Quincy. I made my way to SCP via the streets of Houston to a high-volume animal shelter, and now I’m ready for my next stage – a real forever home. I’m presently being treated for a bad skin condition but getting better every day. I’m still young (est. DOB 2/8/2019) and around 30 pounds of high charged love. I love to play with other dogs, people, toys, balls, you name it, I’m ready to try. I may be a little too energetic for small kids since I may get excited and jump or knock them down by accident. I’m getting great marks from my foster on my house training. She said I’ve learned how to use the doggy door and will go outside all on my own when I need to! I have a crate and I use it if my foster is gone for more than an hour or so but I sleep with my foster since I’m such a cuddle bug. I’m learning how to walk on a leash and doing great, not pulling or chewing on the leash. I’m still learning that walks and car drives can be fun, so I’m a little nervous at the start of walks and going in the car, but once we get started, I’m ready to go. I’m learning “Sit” and “no-no” and starting “Shake”. My foster says I’m pretty smart and eager to please so I am easily trained once I calm down from the excitement of learning new things. I’m a very happy and loving puppy. Always happy to meet and greet with strangers and I give the best doggie kisses and tail wags! I love to cuddle when I’m worn out from all the playing and learning I so love. With continued patience and on-going training that all puppies need, I’ll be the most wonderful dog for your family.
If you would like a meet and greet, please send an email to pets2adopt@yahoo.com to find out if I will be coming to the SCP Adoption Event at Clear Lake Petco on Saturday so you can see how great I am.

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for this dog is $225.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to pets2adopt@yahoo.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco. If you just want to meet some great dogs looking for their forever home, please come visit with us on Saturday!
