Ellie Black Labrador Retriever & Patterdale Terrier / Fell Terrier Mix Argyle, NY

Sweet, expressive and always looking for pets and pats, meet Miss Ellie! You wouldn't know to meet her, but this little girl had a bit of a rough start. On a night that was going to be very cold, a freeze was actually predicted for our Florida headquarters, a call came in regarding a stray momma and her very new babies found in a barn. One of our volunteers drove, arriving at nearly midnight, to recover the family. Ellie was one of those puppies mom was trying to keep warm in the hay. Ellie is such s grateful girl, easy to fall in love with.

We know mom is a petite Black Lab/small Patterdale Terrier mix. Sadly, we don't know dad, but we suspect Ellie will be petite like mom, maybe a few pounds bigger, once fully grown. At 18 weeks old, she is practicing her leash skills and doing a great job with house-training. Ellie is excellent with other dogs and loves to play! Ellie is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue centered in Bonifay and Panama City, FL (NY Lic #1054). The $395 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay surgery, vaccinations, de-worm, flea prevention, heartworm prevention and martingale safety collar.
