Attention active families! This very affectionate fella might be a fit for you! Kai is a 1 year old NM Labrador Retriever Mix! Indeed, Kai is seeking an active family! Daily runs and weekends hiking sound great to him! Volunteers tell us Kai is very friendly and he looves to run in the play yard! He gets the funniest zoomies! Kai appears more interested in treats than toys at this time. Volunteers also applaud Kai for how well he walks on his leash. Staff feels Kai will thrive best in a quiet home with a firm owner who has very much patience. Kai can be very playful. At times he can get a bit over zealous with his play. An owner who can guide Kai with boundaries is a great match. A meet and greet with any canine siblings will be needed. A tolerant, playful canine sibling of the same size might be best.
