Meet Saber
Saber came to the rescue from a UT rescue as he needed more one on one attention and training.
He is a sweet soul, and just wants to be in a home that he will be loved on, and included in all the fun activities. He had a ruff past. He loves to run around with the other dogs outside, but when they approach his bed, or where he is laying, he has a tendency to growl under his breath, but if told "no" he stops immediately. I think he will come around with time, as he will happily join another dog on a bed if you are there to pet him! :) I don't think he has been socialized with many other dogs or people, but is doing okay in the rescue.
He retrained! He knows, sit, down, go lay down, kennel, stay, come, back, heel. He really just wants to be where you are- like right up next to you getting all the love he has missed out on for the past 2 years. He does know kennel, although he prefers not to be kenneled. He is doing awesome with the e-collar and his recall training and a lot of the time doesn't even have the ecollar on when outside. He pretty much runs right by my side while we are out on trails. He LOVES to play fetch.
He has been to the vet and is now up to date on shots.
