Sasha Alaskan Malamute & Husky Mix Orangeburg, SC

Sasha is a 1-2 year old husky mix that was found abandoned as a starving mother. She had a choke collar around her chest and her babies were not left with her (we aren’t certain if they died or if they kept the pups and dumped the mama). She was so loving even after being treated so poorly. She was missing some fur which we thought was mange but was from flea allergies and is growing back in beautifully now. She will be loyal to the core to anyone that loves her and opens their home. She is very energetic and loves to run, play fetch, and adores her toys. She is nonreactive to cats that don’t run but will chase those that run from her until reminded not to. She is social and wants to be with her family or another pet and not left alone all the time. She is house trained and loves lounging with her foster family after a day full of playing. She is heartworm negative and will be spayed and microchipped June 12. She is currently on heart worm, flea and tick prevention. She’s a beautiful intelligent dog that will make an amazing pet for the right family. It’s very important that she find an amazing family so we are assured the rest of her many years will be much better than her past- she deserves a happy ending and to be spoiled!
