Meet Huey

Huey is a darling bulldog mix who recently came to CARE as an owner surrender. He is thought to be around three years old and appears to be a mix of English bulldog and French bulldog. Fully grown at just less than 50 pounds, Huey is a darling short fellow with a huge chest!
As a part of our adoption process, Huey will be neutered and microchipped and given all his vaccines. He has been seen by a local vet and given rabies, but we will complete his veterinary profile. We do not know his history, likes or dislikes. Consideration will be given to choosing a home in which he is most likely to thrive. We feel he would be best suited to a home without children, without small dogs or cats, and with a family who has a history of dog ownership.
CARE Rescue is foster-base rescue located in Richmond, VA. We do not have a facility for you to come to meet animals at. You must visit our weekly adoption stand (calendar on our website) to meet the adoptable dogs. Out of area adoptions can only be facilitated when we are able to find a volunteer to do a home visit for us and when the potential adopter already has a veterinary reference.
