Lela Dachshund Mix League City, TX

Lela is a 12 lb pure bred long haired Dachshund. Her estimated birthday is January 7, 2016. She is house trained, and walks well on a leash. She and her sister were strays that ended up at a shelter that was full to capacity, but they were two of the lucky ones that made it out. She is full grown and house trained. She has a loving, and easy-going temperament. Lela will easily adapt to her new home and be very loving with her new family. Going for walks and hanging around the house with you are her favorite things to do. She walks well on a leash. She is good with kids and would do well in a home with considerate children over 8 years old. She will do well in a home with other dogs that are small or under 25 lbs. Lela is looking for a home where she can get a lot of love and a family that will spend time with her. Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for Lela is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
